Post surgical and orthopaedic rehabilitation

We have extensive experience supporting people before and after surgery to help them regain strength, mobility, and confidence.

We work with individuals:

  • Preparing for and recovering from joint surgery

  • Preparing for and recovering from spinal surgery

 

Our goal is to maximise your function and improve your outcomes through tailored strength and mobility programs

Falls prevention and balance retraining

We’re passionate about helping older adults stay active, independent, and confident by improving balance, strength, and reducing the risk of falls.

MS Get a Head Start

Anna is a certified instructor for the MS Get a Head Start program—a specialised, six-week program designed for people living with Multiple Sclerosis.

 

This progressive program combines education and tailored strength exercises to help manage symptoms, improve mobility, and enhance overall wellbeing.

Anna’s expertise ensures each participant receives personalised support to safely build strength, confidence, and knowledge for living well with MS.

Service Fees:

Entrance and waiting room of Perkins Physiotherapy and Pilates

Initial Physiotherapy assessment - $150

Your first session is a comprehensive assessment focused on understanding your current concerns, abilities, and functional level. Together, we’ll create a personalised rehabilitation plan tailored to your goals.

This session lasts 50 minutes

Follow up Physiotherapy - $135

In your follow-up sessions, we’ll continue working toward your goals and building on your personalised rehab plan. We’ll review your progress, adjust your exercises as needed, and keep you moving forward.

Each session lasts 45 minutes.

Short Physiotherapy follow up - $100

Quick Review Session.  A brief session to make small adjustments to your rehab program or address any minor concerns, helping you stay on track with your progress.

This session lasts 30 minutes.

Appointment Duration & Fees

For more complex presentations—whether during an initial assessment or a follow-up—appointments may be extended to up to 60 minutes to ensure we have the time needed to provide thorough care. If this applies to your booking, we’ll discuss it with you beforehand.

All appointments are billed based off a standard rate of $180.72 per hour.

Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist? No referral is needed for private appointments. However, you will need a referral if you are accessing physiotherapy under: •Medicare (EPC/Chronic Disease Management) •DVA •WorkCover / SIRA •Lifetime Care and Support (LTCS)

Can I claim through my private health fund? Yes! If you have extras cover that includes physiotherapy, you can claim rebates for individual and small group sessions. We offer on-the-spot claiming via Tyro, so you only need to pay the gap on the day.
